It’s been nearly 24 long months since one of the biggest country music events in the southeast took place, but after a hiatus in 2020, the Carolina Country Music Fest makes its triumphant return to Myrtle Beach this June! With a star-studded lineup performing over four days and nights, this year is sure to be an unforgettable experience for country music fans.
Kicking off on Thursday, June 10th and lasting all the way until Sunday, June 13th, the Carolina Country Music Fest will feature the biggest names in country music across four stages. All the action takes place along Ocean Boulevard between 8th and 9th Avenue North, just across from the shoreline and right in the heart of Myrtle Beach. Things will commence on Thursday night with the McDonald’s Kick-off Concert, featuring performances by country stars Jake Owen, Jordan Davis and Teddy Robb.
Moving into the weekend, the phenomenal schedule continues well into each night. Throughout each day, up-and-comers like Ashland Craft, Mitchell Tenpenny, Diamonds & Whiskey, Larry Fleet and others will perform and showcase the new wave of country talent ready to burst onto the scene. Concert goers can expect to hear some of the biggest hits on the radio during performances by Niko Moon (“Good Time”), Blanco Brown (“The Git Up”) and Parmalee (“Carolina”).
Of course, the Carolina Country Music Fest wouldn’t be one of the top music events in the country without a packed group of headliners, and the nightly main event acts consist of some of the biggest names in country music. With a slew of ACM, Billboard and CMA awards since coming onto the scene in 2019, Luke Combs has become one of the biggest acts in country music, with his recent smash hit “Beer Never Broke My Heart” setting the record for most debut week video streams by a country artist. After a successful career as the front man for Hootie and the Blowfish, Darius Rucker has become a country superstar, infusing hit songs like “Homegrown Honey” and “Dixie Cup” with a laid-back Carolina attitude that has become his trademark. Rounding out the trio of headliners is Eric Church, arguably the biggest name in country music currently. Fresh off being named the 2020 Entertainer of the Year by the Country Music Association, Church recently released his seventh studio album, Heart and Soul, and is renowned for hits like “Record Year”, “Talladega” and “Round Here Buzz”.
